A first edition to set things in motion

OpenRail Day @Paris marks the starting point of a long-term initiative designed to grow, travel and scale. This first edition was built to showcase what already exists and above all, to open the door to what comes next.
A founding first edition

OpenRail Day @Paris is the first public edition of an event led by the OpenRail Association. Designed as a key community milestone, this day aimed to:

Open-source projects already actively deployed in the railway sector


Foster
Exchanges between technical, institutional and industrial stakeholders


Create
A space for dialogue around interoperability, open standards and international collaboration

This first edition laid the foundations for a format designed to evolve and grow over time, in service of a more open and collaborative railway digital ecosystem.
